Can I really upload ANY audio?
Yes! You can submit any audio file in French up to 30 minutes. We’ll process it: transcribe, cut into short clips, level them based on vocab and pace, and turn them into a series of transcription quizzes with variable levels for you to practice with.
What if I’m a beginner?
Perfect! You can adjust quiz difficulty and use “explore” to discover content that is a better fit for your level. The point is for you to immerse like you would as a child learning a language or if you moved to France. Only, on FrenchIRL you can use buttons to reveal more of the transcript to meet your needs.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. No long-term commitment. You can cancel your subscription from your account dashboard anytime.
How is this different from Duolingo?
The focus is listening first. It’s not about vocab or grammar, though with practice on site you will internalize those concepts. We focus on REAL French audio – not AI-generated voices. You hear native speakers at natural speeds.
